About us
Formbend is a privately-owned family business. Founded in 1966 the company is now in its third generation and has grown to become a successful company supplying many blue-chip companies.
Formbend is one of the UK’s leading tube manipulators, producing components for a wide and diverse customer base. Supplying into some of the biggest names in our respective sectors, including automotive, yellow goods, white goods, aerospace, and furniture. Operating from our premises in West Bromwich, offering a central location to deliver products throughout the UK. We manipulate various types of metal and have the capabilities to bend tubes up to 50mm diameter (2”). Highly complex bending solutions can be achieved with our state of the art 12-axis CNC bending machines.
We offer various end forming processes, have the capability to carry out all manner of assemblies for welding & fabrication & can offer a variety of additional applications. From prototype to final products, we work closely with our customers to attain the optimum design at a competitive price. All backed by our technical expertise including our own in house toolroom.

Tube Bending
We manipulate various types of metal including mild steels, stainless steels, aluminium, copper, brass & pre-coated tube. Tube section profiles include: Round Box Flat sided oval Rectangle We have the capabilities to bend tubes up to 50mm diameter (2”). Highly complex bending solutions can be achieved with our state of the art 12-axis CNC bending machines. Formbend represents sustainable, long-standing success and continues to invest in the latest equipment to be able to offer existing and potential customers the best and most cost-effective solutions. Tube End Forming
We host 9 end-forming machines giving us the capacity to handle up to 50mm diameter tube. Investment in the latest all electric end forming machines allows us to produce complex end form details combining 7 ram stations plus 2 rotary stations on one machine. We host two parker parflange O lok & Triple lok machines to offer leak proof seals on hydraulic applications. Welding and Fabrication
The welding team at formbend are highly skilled & experienced with the capability to carry out all manner of assemblies, ranging from aesthetically pleasing furniture ranges to high strength requirements for highly critical aerospace & MOD components. We host 2 state of the art, multi directional robotic welding stations for complex components in high volume.
