About us

HGL Dynamics is a global provider of Dynamics Measurement Systems for the Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbine sectors, with offices located in the UK, Europe, North America and South Korea, with long standing engineering distributors based in the APAC region.

Clients include Rolls Royce, Pratt and Whitney, Safran, Siemens Energy, Doosan HI and ACAE; solutions range from standalone acquisition units to fully integrated measurement, analysis and data management systems.

All HGL’s Acquisition Systems are passively cooled, hermetically sealed, rugged, and demonstrate < 0.1% errors across large temperature, pressure, frequency and gain ranges. All are capable of operating -55 to +80oC (Ambient), sea-level to 60,000ft (20,000m), for long durations in challenging environments. They are available in 2 to 1024+ channel configurations.

2025 sees the expansion of HGL’s Acquisition front ends to include 1Hz-1000Hz Steady State and 500kHz-10MHz High Speed and Blade Tip Timing front ends.
HGL also develops a full suite of Acquisition, Real-time Monitoring, Analysis and Storage software for use on HGL and/or 3rd party PCs, together with custom firmware and software solutions (including bespoke interfaces to customer systems and specific data converters). All software design and development is undertaken by HGL staff within the UK.

All HGL hardware design and production is provided by our in house, multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring optimised development lifecycles and shorter supply chains.

The HGL Systems arm of the business also offers electronic, mechanical and software/firmware design, consultancy, prototyping and production services to external clients. Our team of highly experienced engineers supports customers from initial concept through to finished product, delivering reliable, high quality solutions at every stage.

HGL Systems’ Electronic Design Engineers bring extensive expertise in both analogue and digital electronics, including electronics design, PCB layout, firmware development, and full prototyping and production. Designs can incorporate advanced technologies such as microprocessors and FPGAs, and projects can be delivered from customer-supplied specifications or developed collaboratively from initial requirements. Complementing this is a skilled Mechanical Design team with specialist experience in high-end, electronics enclosures.

Drawing on backgrounds across industries such as aerospace, industrial power and transportation, HGL Systems can deliver robust and innovative solutions, including improving existing designs and re-engineering legacy systems.

With significant investment in state-of-the-art equipment, software, and machining capability, HGL Systems can efficiently produce one-off prototypes and low/medium-volume production runs of both PCB Assemblies and Mechanical Parts in a timely and cost-effective manner—turning ideas into reality with precision, passion and care.
