Products & services

CNC Milling
Our 3, 4 and 5 axis milling machines allow for exceptional accuracy with flexibility to manufacture in a cost effective manner. Quality components can be manufactured across all types of materials, ranging from ferrous and non-ferrous metals to plastics, using the highest quality tooling. For more complex projects, our Haas UMC-750 machines provide simultaneous 5-axis machining with a 762 x 508 x 508mm working envelope, allowing for production to precise tolerances and excellent repeatability at a commercially viable cost. Our 3 and 4-axis machines provide a generous work envelope of XYZ 1270 x 508 x 635mm, delivering versatile machining across various materials. All machines are routinely inspected and maintained, ensuring positional accuracy and maximum uptime.

CNC Turning
Our turning machines are operated by our team of specialist engineers ensuring the superior quality of turned parts we produce have an exceptional level of accuracy. Our Haas machines offer live tool turning for high quality, complex turned components to exact specification across all types of materials, ranging from ferrous and non-ferrous metals to plastics. For larger turned components our Haas ST-30 machines offer heavy cutting ability and extreme rigidity for the manufacture of components up to 533mm in diameter and 660mm in length. All our turning machines are continually serviced and inspected to ensure that precise tolerances are maintained and lost production capability is avoided.

3D Printing
We have three different 3D printing technologies that we use in house. This variety enables us to ensure we use the best process for you. SLA: A wide variety of resins to suit your needs are available ranging from tough engineering grade resin to flexible bio-compatible materials. This machine is capable of producing one-off prototypes as well as production ready parts. FDM: Materials ranging from versatile ABS plastic through to clear flexible TPU grade polymers are available on this machine with a large printing volume. Used typically for producing one-off prototypes as well as production ready parts. SLS: Printing with Nylon 12, a fantastic ‘do it all’ material. This printing solution is perfect for batch production. Using various processes and materials we are able to 3D print products as well as prototypes. Using 3D printing for prototypes is a cost effective way of seeing your item in a real form and check for the end use.

Laser Etching
Our high-performance laser etching machine offers a fast, infinitely customisable, non-contact method for creating artwork and practical product features, such as identification marks. Our customers use laser etching to mark parts with serial numbers, barcodes, and QR codes. These markings contain vital information that tracks the source of a particular product throughout its entire life cycle. Laser etching can help our customers ensure the safety and durability of their products for end users by allowing them to trace every part. By laser etching a mark onto an item, it will remain readable for the part’s useful life and withstand non-abrasive treatments, including e-coating, powder coating and heat treating.

CAD/CAM Programming
At JOTA Advanced Engineering, our CAD\CAM Software has the capability to allow us to produce high-quality, complex components using state-of-the-art technology. The advent of computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing technologies represents a groundbreaking advancement in metal fabrication and manufacturing across various industries. Our software can allow us to use multi-access machining, 5-axis simultaneous machining, and milling turning. With the software, we can fully simulate the job. This means we can guarantee high accuracy and professional quality work with every job we carry out.

Design
At JOTA Advanced Engineering, we pride ourselves on offering a fully consultative, end-to-end service that encompasses the initial design process through the production of the finished component. With our in-house design and development facility working alongside our network of experts, we offer tailor-made design solutions to help guide a project from concept to completion. Our approach is flexible and we are happy to offer a level of involvement in the design process that fits around the client’s experience and needs.

Prototyping
Producing precision prototypes can be an essential step in establishing the most cost effective way of volume producing components using the most suitable materials. We offer rapid response prototyping built on our production equipment, allowing us to check for improvement opportunities and analyse any complications that may arise prior to full-scale production. As part of a full-service design project or as a standalone assignment, our prototyping service gives clients the confidence that their designs will be produced to exacting standards enabling the precision functionality of the finished product.

Mechanical Assembly
Our mechanical assembly facility provides the option of having components assembled by our experienced team of tool making, fitting and finishing specialists post production. The assembly of precision engineered components is a complex process which demands the right environmental conditions and levels of skill to ensure it is completed accurately and efficiently. Having this process completed at JOTA Advanced Engineering enables client’s to free up valuable time as well as increasing productivity and reducing a customer’s in-house lead time. Assemblies are closely checked throughout to ensure that quality standards are met, and we are meticulous in ensuring that the finished product precisely meets the customer’s brief.

Project Management
At JOTA Advanced Engineering we are able to deliver full service project management, from the first concept through to the finished product. Building upon our experience in professional, international motorsport, where working to strict deadlines and exacting specifications is crucial, we deploy our team of in-house experts to build a bespoke service based on the client’s needs. With a fully consultative approach, we work closely with the client to develop a schedule encompassing where needed design, prototyping, testing, production and assembly – and are experts in working to time and budget constraints. Pre-defined objectives are continually monitored by our team, working to reduce risk and assure quality of the finished product. Our approach is flexible and we are happy to offer a level of project management involvement that fits around the client’s experience and needs.
