UK Electronics has always been a CEM (Contract Equipment Manufactures) which allows us to focus on our customers’ needs and products. Our customers range from internationally recognised industrial companies to specialised laboratory and medical equipment manufacturers. Each and every one of our customers benefit from our unique blend of skills and knowledge gained over many years of electronics manufacture. We offer full procurement of stock and stock holding for scheduled orders which allows our customers to focus on their core business. We have over 30 years’ experience in all types of electronic assembly including Surface Mount, conventional leaded or mixed technology. We aim to provide a high quality low cost product in any quantity you require. We can offer a rapid turnaround prototyping service. All of our boards are ATE tested and RoHS compliant giving you the knowledge that you are in line with current UK legislation. We also offer bare board PCB supply in a multitude of finishes, thicknesses and styles such as hot air levelled and immersion gold. We also offer Aluminium clad, flexible circuits and flexi rigid boards to cover all requirements. Our team of dedicated production staff follow ISO 9001:2015 quality guidelines and work to IPC 610 standards ensuring a high quality product every time. We have always invested in the very latest production technology to ensure that we remain competitive and to give us an edge over the competition. Our plant equipment currently includes 3 SMT placement lines. Pride of place is our new Samsung ‘Decan’ placer SMT line, 2 multi zone reflow ovens, a CMS400LF wave solder machine and automated screen printers. Our capabilities are growing. [07] In House Conformal Coating
𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐂𝐁𝐀’𝐬 Its purpose is to protect electronic circuits from harsh environments that may contain moisture and or chemical contaminants. By being electrically insulating, it maintains long-term surface insulation resistance (SIR) levels and thus ensures the operational integrity of the assembly. It also provides a barrier to air-borne contaminants from the operating environment, such as salt-spray, thus preventing corrosion. We have the ability to either dip, spray or brush finish your product dependent on your requirements. All our conformal coatings contain a UV trace that glows with a bright blue luminescence under UV light to make coated and uncoated areas easily detectable. All our conformal coating production processes are visually inspected in production under a UV light. The conformal coatings we use are all environmentally friendly. If you require a specific specification of conformal coating we are always happy to source it on your behalf and use it solely on your products.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is an important consideration when meeting your legal requirements to bring a product to market. At UK:E we bring decades of experience to this side of the development cycle. We also understand that EMC is integral to the quality of your product and that EMC problems often manifest themselves as unreliable products, which if unresolved may result in customer complaints and returns. We are able to support you at every stage of the development process, but we strongly advise early consideration of your EMC compliance strategy, along with early validation of design concepts through testing. Our team along side our group partners are able to provide advice on the choice of standards and we will recommend a test plan and carry out testing according to your instructions. Our engineers are here to ensure that all products manufactured by UK:E are built to the highest standard and operate to our customers specification. [14] Material Supply Chain Management
At UK Electronics we offer a full electronic component / PCB procurement service to all of our customers. We also have the essential key industry contacts allowing us to design and procure items on your behalf such as bespoke metal work, moulded plastic enclosures and made to measure packaging allowing us to be a one stop shop for your completed product. Every component we purchase at UK Electronics is fully RoHS compliant, all items can be tracked back to their original manufacture date and supplier allowing us to have complete confidence in our supply chain. Our dedicated Stores team maintain an active common part stock holding of well over 10,000 stock lines in our onsite warehouse all ready to be allocated to your products. This scale of stock holding allows UK Electronics to minimise any chance of component shortages and allows to cut down on delivery times, enabling us to turn your order round in the least time possible.UK Electronics also accepts free issue kits, if you would prefer to supply your own components which could either be the full kit including PCB’s or a partial kit if you only have a select amount of items you would like to supply. UK Electronics can work with you to produce a cost effective solution. Another service we offer is component sourcing, if you’re struggling to find an obsolete item our devoted Purchasing department will use their industry contacts to track down any hard to find components or if this is still not possible they will help you to find an alternative solution.
