Altitude/Vacuum Environmental Chambers

The Altitude Test chambers are designed to control temperature and vacuum pressure to simulate the conditions at differing heights above the Earth’s surface. Altitude Test Chambers typically control the temperature between -70°C to +180°C and a pressure of 10mbar (100,000 Feet Altitude), they can also have an optional humidity control of 10% to 95%RH if required. Altitude Test chambers are designed for use by the Aerospace, Defence & Space industries for the testing of components and assemblies.

Altitude Test Chambers are generally used to test components and assemblies used in aircraft or space travel and the Defence Industry to test the components resilience to vacuum and temperature experienced at altitude. To achieve these conditions the chambers are manufactured with a Stainless Steel reinforced inner chamber made from a high grade of material and has indirect Heating & Cooling of the inner chamber.
