Sanyo Denki Waterproof Long Life Fans are designed to operate reliably for over 20 years, and are ideally suited for equipment that must operate without maintenance in wet or dirty environments for extended periods. Applications such as remote communication cabinets, industrial equipment and outdoor applications such PV invertors can benefit from the high reliability and IP68 protection of these fans, which offer lifetime of 100,0000 to 180,000 hours at 60 degree C (depending on fan size).

The improved life time is a result of a high quality metal frame construction, an uprated drive circuit and careful design of the fan structure to reduced the heating of the dual ball bearings. The IP68 rating is ensured by using an encapsulated motor and fully sealed cable outlet
