Amokabel UK, formally Brand-Rex have been manufacturing cable and wire since 1901 in Leigh, Greater Manchester. We produce high-performance solutions for applications where high temperature (+260°C) and low-temperatures (-95°C) are critical, utilising PTFE, FEP, PFA, MFA, KAPTON and PEEK material.
Amokabel Flexishield, is a signature product line, specifically designed for fixed wiring installations. The main product is a multicore screened power cable to BS8436, specifically designed for power and lighting circuits, where cables are required to be concealed within partitions and building voids at a depth of less than 50mm. The main feature is its ability to fail safe when used as part of an electrical circuit that is penetrated by a sharp metallic object.
