Automated Robot Guidance (ARG)
ARG (Automated Robot Guidance) is an advanced 3D vision system designed to enhance the accuracy, flexibility, and reliability of robotic tightening and drilling operations. Developed for Stop & Go production lines, ARG enables robots and cobots to precisely locate assembly points and adapt to part variability in real time without relying on rigid fixtures. By allowing robots to “see” the workpiece, ARG transforms traditional automation into an intelligent, adaptive process suitable for modern manufacturing environments. Smarter Robot Guidance with 3D Vision: ARG uses high-precision 3D vision technology to detect holes, fasteners, or features on the part and calculate their exact spatial position. The system automatically guides the robot tool to the correct location, compensating for variations in part placement, tolerances, or lighting conditions. This ensures consistent accuracy and quality, even in applications where component positioning cannot be perfectly controlled. Q-Shield-C Ideal in critical production line applications or when access conditions are challenging. High precision in torque and angle, supports interchangeable heads. Accurate and flexible for rework stations. Q-Shield-C-eLINK Designed for use with the nexonar tracker for integrated RTLS (Real Time Location System). The tracker is powered directly from the wrench itself, eliminating the need for cables and frequent recharging to improve productivity and workflow. Tightenings are only validated at the desired location.
