About us
Grommets Ltd are a leading UK rubber moulding manufacturer and stockist of Rubber Grommets and Custom Moulded products.
We stock a wide range of Rubber & PVC products, all manufactured and stocked in the UK but available for European and Worldwide export.
We are proud of our heritage and as a fourth-generation, family-run business that has been producing grommets and rubber products for nearly 35 years. Grommets Ltd was founded in 1993 by Sid Wells and Jo Boorsma with our HQ in a draughty shed in Horsham! Today we operate from our modern office and despatch building in Henfield with our factory next door.
As a fourth-generation British rubber moulding business; we are now a leader in making grommets and other small mouldings for a wide market.
We supply to a diverse range of clients spanning multiple sectors including transport, engineering, medical, green industries, and military both in the UK and abroad - all underpinned by our quality standards backed up with our ISO9001 LRQA accredited quality management system.

Open Rubber Grommet
A Grommet is a ‘ring’ inserted into a hole through material. They are flared or collared on each side to keep them in place. An Open Grommet is used to protect cables or pipes passing through them. We offer a range of stocked open rubber grommets and we can also manufacture custom open grommets.
Blind Rubber Grommets
A Blind Grommet is used for blanking off holes in metal panels. Our rubber range of Blind Grommets accommodate thicker plate thicknesses.
Cord rings
A cord ring is used to create compressed static seals or in swivelling joints. We offer a range of stocked Cord Rings and we can also manufacture custom Cord Rings.
Custom tooling
Our tooling team crafts custom mouldings to your specs, offering competitive pricing and quick lead times, from initial contact to final batch production. If the products in our standard ranges do not meet your requirements, or you require a custom moulding, then our in-house tooling department can cater for your needs.
Flanged Rubber Bush
A Flanged Bush can be used for various industrial and anti-vibration purposes. We offer a range of stocked rubber flanged bushes and we can also manufacture custom Flanged Bushes.

PVC Edging Strip
PVC Edging Strip is for protecting metal panels. We offer a range of stocked PVC edging strips.
Rubber handlebar grips
A Handle Grip is for use on motorbikes; bicycles; scooters; wheelbarrows etc. We offer a range of stocked rubber handles and we can also manufacture custom rubber handles.
Rubber bungs
A Rubber Bung / Stopper is used to plug holes in metal plates. We offer a range of stocked rubber bungs and we can also manufacture custom rubber bungs.
Rubber cable entry sleeves
A Cable Entry Sleeve is designed for cables and wires being pushed through holes. They are ideal where the panel is too thick to accommodate a grommet.
Rubber discs
A Rubber Disc is suitable for a range of uses including vacuum pumps; furniture; paving and timber decking. We offer a range of stocked rubber discs and we can also manufacture custom rubber discs.
Rubber feet
A Rubber Foot is generally used for protection purposes on ladders; stepladders; chairs; stools etc. Our Rubber Feet can also be used as caps. We offer a range of stocked rubber feet and we can also manufacture custom rubber feet.
Rubber ferrules
A Rubber Ferrule is used to protect protruding rods and other sharp points. They can also be used as feet for chairs etc. We offer a range of stocked rubber ferrules and we can also manufacture custom rubber ferrules.
Rubber tapered bungs
A Tapered Bung / Stopper is used to plug holes in metal plates. We offer a range of stocked tapered rubber bungs and we can also manufacture custom tapered bungs.
Rubber tapered plugs
A tapered plug is used for blanking off holes in metal panels, especially where the panel is too thick for a standard blind grommet. We offer a range of stocked tapered rubber plugs and we can also manufacture custom tapered plugs.
Rubber washers
A washer distributes the pressure of the nut evenly over the surface to prevent damage to the surface or to ensure the nut presses against a smooth surface to reduce the chance it will gradually loosen. We offer a range of stocked rubber washes and we can also manufacture custom rubber washes.
Rubber mushroom plug
A mushroom plug is used for blanking off holes in metal panels, especially where the panel is too thick for a standard Blind Grommet.
Semi blind rubber grommet
Semi-Blind Rubber Grommets can be used as Blind or Open Grommets. The membrane of the Grommet is thick enough to provide a good seal, but thin enough to be punctured by wires or cables to be used as an Open Grommet.
Sleeved rubber grommets
A Sleeved Grommet provides added support and protection for cables or wires passing through metal panels.
Standard rubber bush
A Rubber Bush can be used for various industrial and anti-vibration purposes. We offer a range of stocked rubber bushes and we can also manufacture custom rubber bushes.
