About us

Holme Dodsworth is one of the UK’s fastest growing non-ferrous metal stockholders and remains proudly family run, now in its third generation.
In the largest year of investment in it’s 146 year history, the company has opened a 40,000 sq ft, state of the art Southern Hub in Basingstoke. This landmark investment has increased stockholding capacity fivefold, significantly enhancing material availability, reducing lead times, and raising service standards across the South of England.
Just ten years ago, Holme Dodsworth had no presence in the South. Since then, the business has expanded rapidly, establishing five sites across the region.
Holme Dodsworth supplies a comprehensive range of brass, copper, bronze, aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, cast iron, and nickel alloys, supported by a nationwide branch network including Bristol, Luton, Manchester, Newcastle, Plymouth, Rotherham, Walsall, and Basingstoke.
The business operates to ISO 9001 standards, with dedicated aerospace capability provided through its sister company, HD Aerospace, certified to AS9120 in support of the aerospace supply chain.
