Solder paste stencil laser cutting
We take your data and manufacture laser-cut stainless solder paste stencils in steel shim style. Put our service to the test with our introductory offer of one sample solder paste stencil without charge, cut to your data. Our laser cut solder paste stencil service is suitable for anyone assembling surface-mounted components and needs to screenprint solder paste onto PCBs. This low-cost service offers a fast turnaround and allows you to avoid additional repeated royalty and licence fees by using a non-proprietary Zelflex frame tension system. We’ll edit your stencil data to incorporate tooling holes, frame mounting holes, frame mounting holes, tool numbers, text, fiducials, steps and repeats and more. Each of your solder stencils is then supplied in storage wallets which are secured by Velcro with hooks for hanging storage. We manufacture foil type stencils using either 0.125 or 0.150mm thick stainless steel sheets that are specifically rolled for solder paste screens. Frame mounting holes are cut to suit each client’s individual mounting system requirements. Conformal coating service
Fast-Turnaround Leading Conformal Coating Solutions Together with our sister company PCB Train, we offer a quality, efficient and fast-turnaround sub-contract acrylic conformal coating service, providing the ability for an online quote and order. Our conformal coating service uses the latest 6-axis CNC technology and UV curing to help you extend your PCB’s working life. We offer a wide range of environmentally friendly materials to suit every application and ensure it maintains long-term surface insulation resistance (SIR) levels. Our Conformal Coating Process: Preparation – To ensure the best adhesion, printed circuit boards are first treated to remove any potential contaminants such as dust and oils. Masking – Masking is carried out to stop the unintended coating of components which could affect functionality in the end product. Application – Conformal coating will either be applied by 6-axis CNC spray, or, for extremely low-volumes, by hand, using a brush or spray. Curing – The conformal coating is cured by a precise combination of heat and UV light. Inspection—While conformal coatings are crystal clear in daylight, they are clearly visible when illuminated by UV light, and this is how they are carefully inspected. Our conformal coating process adheres to strict guidelines, starting with the paramount preparation of PCB assemblies for coating. Thus, we pre-treat and clean these before masking and coating to exceed the standards of IPC. The same level of rigour is applied to the entire conformal coating process, from masking and application to curing and inspection.

In-house EMC testing capabilities
EMC testing accelerates our capabilities and reduces overall risk and friction when it comes to compliance and approvals of a product dev. Lc600 Radiated emissions and immunity test cell: 30MHz to 6GHZ with supporting hardware for full radiated immunity testing and radiated emissions testing. Using this in-house test cell facility together with Validation and Verification; such that when a product we develop goes for an external certification test, it passes first time!
