Electronics assembly
We are very proud of our high quality dedicated electronic manufacturing unit, with IPC trained and certified staff. Our wide-ranging experience of circuit board assembly means we tailor each job to the customer’s unique requirements and preferences. RVL offers full electronics design and assembly capabilities, but your project might mean you only require one or two elements of this “pick and mix” style service. If you have an existing PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design, we offer an assembly service, so just choose what you need: - sourcing parts and components, - incoming component inspection, - prototyping, - scheduling production (as the contract electronics manufacturer) of your project, - testing, - quality control, - inspection, - final box build, if so desired. Whether you need a prototype, a small one-off batch, or a few thousand units every month, you can benefit from our flexibility, our speed and attention to detail. Electronics design
Our team of electronics design and development engineers knows just how to create innovative electronics to meet your needs. You might only want help with one aspect, or you might need a bit of everything – we are happy to provide a “pick-and-mix” approach, as we are specialists in custom electronic design. This is RVL’s complete service; all under one roof. First of all, come and meet our technical team, if you possibly can. We welcome visitors, as we find that a face-to-face meeting always ensures the best communication and transfer of ideas. Your project will be handled by experienced professional developers who appreciate how important your project is. Be reassured that your IP is protected and safeguarded throughout the process. (When it comes to electronic product design, we know just how important this is to our clients). We listen to your requirements, and work with you to keep the development process smooth and stress-free at every stage. Once finished, our electronic manufacturing team is on hand to turn the design into electronic reality. Providing ongoing technical support is also one of our core strengths. (We want your product to be a success!) If you need to upgrade your product in future, we are on hand to help. Our industry experience will benefit your project : Our experienced engineers have previously worked on many development projects so we know how to source materials, components and specialised contractors if required. We have designed for projects that include industrial analysers, sensors, RF modules, telemetry and communication interfaces. Clients have asked us to work on a range of products from laboratory equipment, harsh environment electronics, automotive systems, security systems and RF sensors to pyrotechnic controllers and hydroponic management systems.
Vapour phase soldering
In order to provide a complete end-to-end service, RVL can also provide complementary services. With choices of Heller multi-stage reflow or IBL vapour phase soldering for dense or high mix type boards, we have the complete surface mount assembly solution for all your low to medium surface mount needs. In addition, we often assist clients with cable and harness wiring, electro-mechanical assembly and full box builds.
Testing
We firmly believe in designing and testing all products rigorously in order to give your project the best possible outcome. Ensuring that the the product is fully working before it comes off the production line makes 100% sense, and we have invested in additional testing and inspection equipment for this sole purpose.
PCB assembly
We offer a PCB assembly service here in the UK, at our secure ESD-controlled manufacturing unit, so you need not worry about outsourcing or getting anything through customs . You can even visit when your project is in production, and see everything coming to life! Our experienced assembly technicians are continuously IPC trained , and our company is extremely committed to quality standards (ISO9001:2015 approved) giving you confidence in our dedication to incredible electronics.
Prototyping
Need a prototype as soon as possible? Ask us for details of our prototyping service, which we undertake ourselves and never sub-contract elsewhere. The first physical version of your project will come to life in our secure production department, and you can be there to see it, if so desired. We are experts in electronics design, so we can carry out all the required testing and modifications to make your project a success. All this helps to eliminate a lot of major costs before you commit to the final PCB.
