Thermal Protection & Controls Ltd (TPC) is a small special distributor of products providing protection against, Over Temperature, Current and Voltage from our premises in South London where we support our customers' needs throughout the U.K. and Ireland.
Our comprehensive family of thermal protection and control products are market leaders in the application of bi-metal and thermistor technology. The products have the full assurance of many recognised approval bodies such as BEAB, CSA, UL and VDE. In addition our products conform to International Environmental Approvals, including RoHS.

Temperature Switches
Thermal Cutout
Owing to their compact shape, these switches are ideally suited for installation in confined spaces: motor coils, transformers, and chokes, as well as in the domains of electronics, sensor technology, and mechanical engineering. The switches are certified for temperatures up to 190°C and current ranges up to a maximum of 20A. Depending on the needs of the application, the contacts may open or close when the reaction temperature is reached.
PT100 & PT1000
The PT1000 is a temperature sensitive resistor. The resistance increases with rising temperature which means it has a positive temperature coefficient. The nearly linear characteristic makes it a precise and high performance choice suitable for use in measurements and Control systems.
PTC thermistors: Single and triple
PTC temperature sensors are used to protect electric motors and other electric machinery and control cabinets from heat. The structure guarantees a quick reaction time and an easy installation.
