About us
TRUMPF Ltd. is a subsidiary of the German high-tech company TRUMPF SE + Co. KG. The TRUMPF Group is one of the world's leading companies for machine tools, laser technology, and electronics for industrial applications.
Founded in 1974 and based in Luton, Bedfordshire, we support customers across the UK with a wide portfolio that includes machine tools, laser technology, and power tools.
Our customers can rely on laser systems that integrate seamlessly into their production processes: from robust production applications in heavy industry to high-precision tasks in medical technology or precision watchmaking.
The marking lasers from TRUMPF create permanent markings, engravings and labels - precise, high-contrast and gentle on the material. They not only process metals, but also numerous other materials such as plastics, glass, silicon, ceramics and organic substances. Whether high-contrast plastic markings, precise engravings on 3D components, deep engravings or high-resolution black markings - with UV lasers, fiber lasers and ultrashort pulse lasers, TRUMPF offers the right laser technology for every marking application, even for series production.

TruFiber lasers
TRUMPF supplies a wide range of industrial fibre lasers for a variety of applications – from fine precision tasks with pulsed lasers to high-performance processes involving several kilowatts of laser power. Our fibre lasers cover a broad power spectrum and are available in singlemode and multimode variants. They require virtually no maintenance, can be flexibly integrated into your production process, and comply with the highest safety standards. Active power regulation ensures consistent laser performance throughout their entire service life. With precisely coordinated optics, sensor technology, software and service packages, we ensure your production process operates smoothly and efficiently at all times.

TruMicro Family
Short and ultrashort pulse lasers from TRUMPF are the ideal industry-ready tool for microprocessing. They are well-suited for all standard processing methods such as cutting, drilling, ablating and structuring, in a wide range of materials. The bandwidth of the TruMicro Series ranges from short-pulse lasers operating in the nanosecond range (ns-lasers) to ultrashort pulse lasers, picosecond lasers and femtosecond lasers (ps- and fs-lasers). The ps-lasers and fs-lasers enable cold processing of the material even at moderate average power, meaning that there is practically no heat input on the workpiece. The average laser powers of the short and ultrashort pulse lasers from TRUMPF range from 10 - 150 watts for the ultrashort pulse lasers to several hundred watts for the short-pulse lasers. The high peak pulse powers are unrivalled, with the total costs remaining extremely low over the full life cycle.

TruFiber P compact
Our TruFiber P compact fibre lasers are the proven solution for precise and flawless cutting of a wide variety of materials and for additive manufacturing. They can be easily inserted into any rack cabinet in your production line and are suitable as single or multimode for both precision processing of thin materials and clean cutting of thicker metals.
