Mintdale Engineering Limited was established in 1976 by the Managing Director Mr Chris Toyne, his wife Christine the Company Secretary and her father Ken. They were later joined by their son Jason, Director and his wife Julie, Director, Jason and Julie's daughter is now on-board making Mintdale a fourth generation family run company. They are subcontract manufacturers of turned and milled components, supplying parts to internationally renowned customers for many years. Mintdale also providing induction brazing and clean assembly for the medical sector. Investing in the very latest CNC technology they have Turning Centres with sub-spindles with live tooling and magazine bar feeds to enable one hit machining including 9-axis and sliding head CNC. They have machining centres with rotary axis for complex milled items. Mintdale also offer clean medical assembly, brazing and induction brazing to medical standards and for the refrigeration industry. Over the years they have moved from producing one off specials to medium volume automated production on an ongoing call off basis for a large proportion of customers. A quality management system was installed in 1993 which has been upgraded to ISO9001-2015 and more recently the environmental standard ISO14001. Working to customers drawings and working in most metals and plastics they can produce items at one-hit without complex jigs and fixtures adding to the cost and lead time. Producing items for the Medical, Brewery, Heavy Plant, Automotive and Refrigeration sectors to name a few, components are not only correct to drawing but they also need to look good.
