CNC Punching
At Broxton, we utilize cutting-edge CNC punching technology from Trumpf to deliver exceptional performance and precision. Our automated punch cell features a SheetMaster Compact with a 2-ton load capacity, enabling unmanned operation and significantly increasing productivity and flexibility. This setup enables overnight production, with the SortMaster Compact efficiently removing and stacking finished parts on a pallet for the next stage. Our advanced descending die technology produces high-quality, scratch-free components, while the energy-efficient all-electric dynamic Delta Drive reduces energy consumption compared to traditional hydraulic systems. This makes our system ideal for producing high-quality, light-gauge (1-3mm) sheet metal blanks. It is particularly well-suited for creating thin-gauge precise blanks with complex punched forms and threads, such as those used in electronic housings. Our comprehensive tool library supports intricate punch and form features with minimal customer investment in tooling, further expanding our manufacturing capabilities.

Laser Cutting
For maximum productivity, our LiftMaster automation system provides flexible and efficient capacity for the production of laser blanks, handling loads up to 2 tons and enabling lights-out production through the night. We utilize an in-house generated nitrogen supply, produced by the MSS Nitrocube, to ensure a low-cost, reliable, on-demand supply of cutting assist gas, which is essential for achieving perfect cutting and edge quality. Our processes are programmed using market-leading Radan CAM software, with dynamic nesting that optimizes sheet utilization and minimizes material waste. Further efficiencies are gained by nesting different production batches together that use the same sheet material, ensuring maximum productivity and minimal waste.

Forming
At Broxton, we utilize world-class forming technology from Trumpf to deliver unparalleled precision in our manufacturing processes. Our high-quality multi-axis machine tools ensure accurate bends on both simple and complex parts, consistently achieving perfect angles. Our range of CNC forming machines offers the ideal capacity for small and large parts, accommodating varying levels of complexity. The ability to complete operations in one setup significantly boosts production efficiency by minimizing part handling. Our highly skilled setter operators guarantee that every part is made accurately, repeatably, and efficiently. Additionally, our extensive tool library supports the creation of complex formed features with minimal investment in customer-specific tooling.

Inserting
To meet the demands of the electronics sector, Broxton has established a significant capacity for fitting threaded inserts, leveraging 5 highly productive Haeger machines. Our skilled and experienced operators have honed highly productive techniques that allow for the efficient and reliable fitting of large quantities of mixed inserts per part, eliminating the need to split operations. Our production-biased machines enable us to fit over 2 million inserts per year, ensuring rapid and scalable output. Dedicated insert counters guarantee that no inserts are missed, significantly benefiting our customers' operations. We use high-quality threaded inserts from leading brands such as PEM, ensuring durability and performance in every application.
