iSmart Intelligent Relay

The IMO iSmart V3 Intelligent Relay provides a compact, flexible and cost-effective solution for machine control and automation applications. Combining powerful control functionality with simple programming, iSmart is ideal for applications that need more capability than a conventional relay without the complexity of a full PLC.

The iSmart V3 supports digital, analogue and temperature inputs, alongside relay, transistor and analogue outputs, providing the flexibility to handle a wide range of control requirements. Programs can be created using Ladder Logic or Function Block Diagram, with advanced functions including maths operations, retentive data registers and PID control with up to 30 loops.

Available with or without an integrated 4-line, 16-character HMI display, iSmart can provide operators with direct access to values, settings and free text. Programmable function keys further simplify local machine control and operation.

For more demanding systems, iSmart offers high-speed inputs, PWM outputs and expandable I/O, with support for a base unit plus up to seven expansion modules. CD models can also use the Link function to connect up to eight iSmart base units, making it easy to scale the system as requirements grow.

With communication options including Modbus RTU, DeviceNet, Profibus and Ethernet, iSmart can also be integrated into wider automation systems. Its compact DIN rail design and -10°C to +60°C operating temperature make it a practical choice for industrial control panels.
