About us

Trans-Tronic have been designing and manufacturing electrical transformers and coil windings for nearly 50 years.
Supplying a wide range of customers and market sectors.
Industries where we are regular suppliers are:- Railways – Lighting – Audio – Defence – Aviation – Oil & Gas – Medical – Renewables – R&D – Instrumentation – Automotive.
Based in Chesterfield we supply our products all around the world.

Working out of a purpose-built factory we have grown the business by acquisition.

Employing 35 people, making and building products we can supply wound components from tiny air coils to toroids and 3 phase transformers.

We manufacture to customer specifications or can advise and develop new designs with our experienced technical team.

We are approved to ISO9001:2015 and also have various quality approvals from UL and Network Rail.
In collaboration with Network Rail we have recently developed a new range of Class II Signalling Transformers for the railway network.

Our designs are energy efficient which make our products environmentally friendly.
