Surface Mount Placement - Iineo II Machines
Our process explained: We use high-speed automated pick and place machines, to place components with micron-level precision onto solder paste, with exceptional speed and precision. We have a long history of using Europlacer SMT placement machines which consistently achieve high quality results. Our current line up includes multiple Iineo II placement machines, which are widely configurable and feature major benefits such as high feeder count, large board size and wide component range. Because our SMT lines are identical, we have interchangeable feeders and programmes, giving us the major advantage of being able to offer greater flexibility and consistency, as well as offline set up. We also have integrated manufacturing with conveyer belts to reduce PCB handling. Our specification: SMT Placement Machines - Iineo II Places 30,000 components per hour, per machine PCB size: 500mm x 460mm – Can work with larger PCBs with engineering management Placement accuracy from ± 35µm to ± 60µm at 3 sigma, depending on the component type Min size components : 0.4mm x 0.2mm (01005 case) Max size components: 50 x 50mm Two heads with 8 & 12 customisable nozzles each Max PCB thickness: 10mm In line electrical test, whole feeder or part feeder testing

Through Hole PCB Assembly - Hand, Selective and Wave
Our process explained: Through-hole soldering is an assembly process where components are inserted through plated holes in the PCB, and are either soldered by hand, or using automation. We have multiple teams hand soldering, using a full range of JBC Metcal soldering irons, in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards. Our Jade Handex Selective Soldering machine has fully customisable soldering programs and auto-flux dispensing. Using infrared, it can preheat the PCBs prior to soldering, which reduces thermal shock & provides better solder joints. Our Blundell CMS400 is an industrial wave soldering system, used to produce high-quality, repeatable through-hole solder joints. This process is ideal for assemblies that must withstand vibration, high current, or long-term environmental stress. Our specification: Selective Soldering machine - Jade Handex Fully customisable nozzle tips with a wide range of sizes Customisable soldering program IR preheat of PCBs before soldering Quick load twin PCB rotary table increases efficiency PCB size - Min 102mm x 102mm & Max 457mm x 508mmAutomatic customisable flux dispensing Wave Machine - Blundell CMS400 Custom wave carriers can be developed Customisable profiling for speed, temperature & height Automatic flux dispensing

Final Assembly -Box Build, Looms and Potting
Our process explained: We have flexible production areas where we can dedicate entire Production lines for low to high volume box build. We can also modify the space to accomodate large units such as cabinet builds and looms. We have a diverse range of handheld tools, a wire stripping machine for automatic cutting and stripping, as well as a stripper crimper machine for insulated ferrules. We have a semi-automatic machine for dispensing potting resin with consistent results, whether it’s full or partial encapsulation. For this, we use multiple Robnor Resins MD30 S/H potting machines. Potting is typically used for products that require strain releif, sealing from environmental concerns, to protect copyright or where the product is required to be intrinsically safe to operate in a flammable environment. Our specification: Flexible Production space and team Low to high volume batch sizes Diverse range of handheld tools Wire cutting and stripping machine Wire stripping and crimping machine Semi-automatic potting resin dispensing machines Panel wiring and cabinet assemblies Cable Assemblies Funtional and safety testing Refurblishment management for used units Procurement and logistics management

Inspection - Automatic Optical Inspection & X-Ray
Our process explained: We use a ALD625PRO AOI machine to inspect 100% of our SMT output for component presence, polarity, alignment, soldering quality, and workmanship defects. It provides fast, objective verification in an accurate and repeatable way, which ensures that defects are detected early and quality standards are consistently met. We run a first off of every SMT build through the AOI for programming and validation prior to build. We have an on-site Nikon XTV 160 X-Ray machine which is used to verify solder joint integrity and internal component quality. It allows us to see inside packages and solder connections that are invisible to optical inspection, making it essential for inspecting components such as BGAs, QFNs. It also has CT Scanning inspection. We are able to create custom X Ray programs for consistent part inspection. Our specification: AOI - ALD625PRO Fully customisable profiles and offline programming Board dimensions Min 50 × 50mm to Max 430 × 330mmBoard thickness Min 0.3mm to Max 10mm PCB component height up to 50mm First off inspection carried out on all assemblies X-Ray & CT Scanner - Nikon XTV 160 XRAY Spec: Xray spot size 1um Defect recognition capability: 500nm System magnification up to 36,000x Power rating of kV 160 kV

Conformal Coating - UV Cured
Our process explained: Conformal coating significantly improves PCB reliability, durability, and environmental resistance with minimal size and weight impact. It is used as a protective barrier, guarding against contamination and moisture, as well as providing mechanical support during light impact and vibration. Our selective concoat service uses a PVA Delta 8 machine, which is highly accurate and provides a cost-effective and consistent process. The machine removes a need for masking, de-masking and touch-up. This is partnered with a Nordson UV-9 inline UV curing oven for touch dry coating. We can safely and effectively manually coat boards where required using customer specified concoat. Custom masking jigs can be developed using 3D printing solutions. Our specification: Concoat Machine - PVA Delta 8 Fully customisable profiles for consistency Paired with inline UV curing oven - Nordson UV-9 Humiseal UV40-250 & 1B31 are our standard coatings Sprays to +/- 25 microns repeatability Has a 621mm x 595mm x100mm work area Maximum spray speed is 670mm per second UV curing oven has adjustable UV intensity Ability to use any approved material via aerosol/brush We work with an approved specialist coating partner for alternative applications beyond our inhouse scope
