
MDS 845-8T “spider” toolroom mill
Designed and built as a cost-competitive alternative to a small footprint vertical machining centre or toolroom type mill, the compact MDS 845-8T provides manufacturers with improved productivity and greater operational efficiencies. The machine features a smart and uniquely designed eight-position ATC arranged around a directly-driven (BT 40) 5.5kW/ 8000rpm spindle (10,000rpm option with through-spindle-coolant capability), an 850mm x 420mm table (220kg maximum table load) and delivers fast, accurate and reliable part processing.

MDT-1 (turret-type milling machine)
The MACH MDT-1 is a high-performance 3-axis CNC turret mill that delivers unprecedented workshop flexibility and machining reliability and is equipped with the powerful and proven DynaPath CNC Control, a 2.25kW (50 – 3750rpm) spindle and a 1244mm x 229mm table with a 340kg maximum table load.

Mean Well BIC Bidirectional Power Supplies
The Mean Well BIC-2200 is a 2.2 kW bidirectional AC/DC power supply that can both charge from the grid and feed energy back. It delivers up to 93% efficiency, with 1 ms fast switching between charge and discharge modes. Features include current sharing up to ~11 kW, CAN-Bus control, full protections, and global safety approvals, making it ideal for energy storage, EV charging, and V2G applications.

Mean Well DRS All-in-One Intelligent Security Power Supplies
The Mean Well DRS Series are intelligent DIN-rail power supplies (240 W & 480 W) that combine an AC/DC supply, battery charger, and DC-UPS in one unit. With universal input (90–305 VAC), high efficiency, and Modbus/CAN-Bus communication, they support smart monitoring and control. Designed for critical backup in fire, security, and industrial systems, they meet UL2524/EN54-4 standards and operate reliably from –30 °C to +70 °C.

The Mean Well HEP Series are rugged, fanless AC/DC power supplies (100–2300 W) designed for harsh environments. Mean Well LOP Open Frame Series
The Mean Well LOP series are 200–600 W ultra-low-profile open-frame power supplies designed for space-constrained applications. Mean Well NTN Off-Grid 2-in-1 Charging Inverter
The Mean Well NTN-5K is a 5 kW off-grid inverter with built-in AC charger, DC-AC inverter, and UPS bypass in a compact 2U rackmount design. It offers true sine-wave output, up to 95% efficiency, and supports parallel operation up to ~30 kW for scalable systems. With CAN/Modbus communication, full protections, wide –30 °C to +70 °C operation, and a 5-year warranty, it’s ideal for solar, storage, and backup power applications.

Our mechanical assembly facility provides the option of having components assembled by our experienced team of tool making, fitting and finishing specialists post production. The assembly of precision engineered components is a complex process which demands the right environmental conditions and levels of skill to ensure it is completed accurately and efficiently. Having this process completed at JOTA Advanced Engineering enables client’s to free up valuable time as well as increasing productivity and reducing a customer’s in-house lead time. Assemblies are closely checked throughout to ensure that quality standards are met, and we are meticulous in ensuring that the finished product precisely meets the customer’s brief.
