97TSC SAC305 Solder

The E-Qual 97TSC alloy is a high-performance, all-round lead-free alternative designed to directly substitute tin/lead alloys in all electronics assembly soldering operations. It eliminates the handling and waste management hazards associated with lead, helping manufacturers achieve RoHS compliant lead-free assemblies.

Physical Properties (Typical)

This alloy has a density of 7.4g/cm³, a melting point of 218°c, and a tensile strength of 52N/mm². 

Usage & Availability

E-Qual 97TSC is suitable for wave soldering, selective, and dipping applications. The melting point is 35°c higher than tin/lead eutectic alloy, requiring equipment setting adjustments and revised temperature profiles. 

It is available in several forms: 

- Bar: 1kg weight, packed in 20kg cartons.

- Autofeed Ingot: 4kg weight & 2kg weight, packed in 20kg cartons.

- Chunks: Chopped bar form, packed in 20kg tubs.
