Radial Blowers for Medical Applications
Micronel high pressure medical blowers and turbine products are used in a wide variety of medical and scientific equipment requiring precise air movement of some kind. Applications such as Breathing therapy, Ventilators, Respirators, Personal Protection, ICU Air Mattresses, Air Purification, Disinfection, Air Sampling, Laboratory, Diagnostic & Test all require some form of air movement with significant pressure or suction (vacuum) to force air through tubes or chambers or overcome system/filter resistance. Micronel’s high performance blower range are perfectly tailored to the needs and requirements of medical breathing ventilation therapy. Full Intensive care unit (ICU) intubated ventilator systems may require over 60+ millibar pressure to fill and inflate diseased lungs. For less severe cases a less harsh treatment may be used with a tight-fitting mask to provide so called continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) as an alternative non-invasive method of ventilator support for some patients. CPAP ventilators typically require around 20 to 30 millibars pressure to assist with breathing and oxygen therapy. Micronel’s medical blowers and turbines utilise long life, highly efficient high-speed brushless motor drives in the smallest form factors to generate high static pressures up to 16 mbar with up to 1000 l/min free blowing airflow. Crucially versions with Oxygen O2 and anaesthetic gas resistance are also available. Many other diverse medical related applications require air movement and pressure ranging from pressure relieving air mattresses to prevent bed sores in patients confined to hospital beds in intensive care, disinfection systems for a variety of settings through to air monitoring and sampling in pharmaceutical production plants and laboratories.

Radiator Soldering Products
GRADE D Solder Grade D Solder is a 29-30% Sn, 1.5-1.8% Sb, balance Pb. It is produced in a cast Blowpipe Strip suitable for hand soldering of tanks, and ingot form for dipping pots. Melting range is 185 to 248°C. Although other solder grades are available, Grade D solder offers good useability at an economic price and has been the industry standard for many years. SN100C® Lead Free Solder Many users are now seeking a Pb/Free solder alternative and SN100C® provides the solution. The alloy was developed and patented by Nihon Superior Co. Ltd of Japan. The alloy is based on the tin/copper eutectic, with the addition of a small quantity of nickel and germanium which modifies its behaviour to the extent that the resultant alloy exhibits fluidity and wetting properties comparable to that of the traditional tin/lead solder it is designed to replace. It is available in Blowpipe Strips, Bars and Ingots. FF301 Soldering Flux FF301 is a hydrobromic acid based flux which is free of heavy metal salts. It is ideal for hand soldering applications and being non-flammable can be safely heated by flame. It works equally as well with both lead containing and lead free solder alloys. Post soldering residues are non corrosive. FFB1 Soldering Flux FFB1 is a hydrobromic acid based flux with higher thermal performance and is ideally suited to applications where the radiator is baked in an oven for several minutes. It should not be used for hand soldering as the flux activity would not degrade due to the lack of thermal input. B128 High Activity Soldering Flux B128 is a ZnCl based flux which should only be used to initially tin steel frames or brackets The residues are corrosive and should be removed immediately after use. D8 Stainless Steel Soldering Flux D8 is a highly active flux designed for soldering stainless steel components.

Reel to Reel Plating
Automatic reelers and de-reelers control the transfer of the product through the reel-to-reel plants and together with computerised vision equipment even the most fragile of components can be plated. This form of plating lends itself particularly well to the plating of high value stamped components as well as pre-formed and plain strip. TPG offers selective gold and silver stripe both on strip and formed components with a variety of solder finishes. Also, overall and selective plating of most metals on strip and formed components can be completed by full/partial immersion.

Rehm Protecto XC
The ProtectoXC by Rehm Thermal Systems is a compact, high-performance coating system designed for electronics manufacturers with lower throughput needs. This system excels in precise lacquer application, ensuring safe and accurate results. It features an automatic needle measurement that checks and corrects applicators, and a heatable nozzle to maintain a constant temperature of the protective lacquer. The ProtectoXC is strong in process performance, even with low throughput, and is particularly appealing due to its lower investment costs. Its modern design not only enhances the user experience but also provides reliable protection for high-quality circuit boards.

Reject conveyor
REJECT CONVEYOR Used for good/bad PCB separation or visual inspection without interrupting the PCB flow. The PCB is lifted 65mm from the ESD belt using metal fingers.

Renewable Slip Fixed Drill Bushes
The removable fixed feature of the bush is normally used in high production work, where the bush can be easily and quickly replaced with a minimum loss of production. The removable slip feature of the bush is used when more than one operation is carried out; the bush is instantly removable after each operation.
